Incremental launch of Nottingham bridge

In Nottingham, as part of the implementation of the second tranche of Nottingham Express Transit (construction of two tram lines, total length: 17.5 km), Taylor Woodrow (VINCI Construction UK) recently completed an important stage in the project: the incremental launch of the Karlsruhe Friendship Bridge. The 104 m-long structure was gradually slid into its position, directly above the city’s main railway station, at a rate of up to 10 m a night.
