Livraison d’un plateau technique pour un CHU en Martinique

Handover of technical facilities at a teaching hospital in Martinique

In late 2016, Sogea Martinique and SIMP, both VINCI Construction Dom-Tom subsidiaries, and Cegelec Projets Antilles Guyane (VINCI Energies France) handed over the new 40,000 sq. metre technical resources centre at the La Meynard teaching hospital (CHU) in Fort-de-France.

In order to ensure the hospital can continue functioning in the event of an earthquake, its structure has been built over an array of 283 isolators enabling it to be entirely separated from its foundations, and 36 shock absorbers installed parallel to the façades.
