First fill for Gabès gas tanks
In Gabès, at the site created for the Société Nationale de Distribution des Pétroles for the storage of liquefied hydrocarbons (six sand-filled storage spheres, each with a capacity of 4,000 cu. metres), the Entrepose Contracting (VINCI Construction) teams have started filling operations.
On 22 November, two LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) storage spheres were filled with a total of 350 t of butane. Filling operations continued the following day, with an additional 170 t of butane and 250 t of propane; after which, in the interest of site safety, operational tests were carried out to check that all equipment was functioning properly.
