Electrical equipment for a logistics hub

Within the framework of the expansion of its European hub at Cologne-Bonn Airport, American logistics operator UPS has called on Cegelec Köln (VINCI Energies International) to provide the power supply for its new sorting installations. The business unit is charged with extending the 25 kV power supply line, adapting the protection and control systems, cabling and the creation of two new 10 kV transformer stations.
The works are to be carried out between November 2012 and mid-2013, without disrupting traffic. Total value: €4.6m.
