Construction of Ministry of Finance building

Sogea Satom (leader) and CFE (both VINCI Construction subsidiaries), in a consortium, are building, on a general contracting basis, the future Ministry of Finance and the Budget building in N’Djamena. Extending over 10 levels and with a total surface area of 36,000 m2, the building will house offices, technical areas, a room for ceremonies, a restaurant and an underground car park. The works, which started in July, were, in early October, focussed on the construction of the building’s raft foundations. Handover is scheduled for December 2014.
