Building a viaduct for a railway test site
Freyssinet (VINCI Construction) is engaged, on behalf of the Singapore transport authorities, in the construction, by the cantilever method, of a viaduct composed of prefabricated parts for Singapore’s new railway test centre.
The contract for this first major project in the country includes the design and installation of the piers, assembling the 658 prefabricated concrete parts making up the viaduct and installing its internal and external prestressing system. Handover is scheduled for December 2023.
