Un 20 000e arbre planté le long de l’autoroute Via 40 Express

20,000th tree planted alongside the Via 40 Express motorway

In line with VINCI Concessions’ aim to contribute to the protection of biodiversity, Via 40 Express (VINCI Highways), the concessionaire in charge of the Bogotá-Girardot motorway in Colombia, has launched a reforestation programme which has just passed the 20,000th-tree-planted milestone.

Thanks to close cooperation with local authorities, these trees, all species native to the region, have been planted in municipalities close to the motorway. A total of more than 500,000 are due to be planted as part of this programme.
