VINCI Airports completes modernisation works at the seven airports operated by Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia in northern Brazil
VINCI Airports (VINCI Concessions) has completed modernisation works at seven airports in northern Brazil, further improving Concessionária dos Aeroportos da Amazônia infrastructure.
This extensive programme, covering the airports at Porto Velho, Boa Vista, Rio Branco, Cruzeiro do Sul, Manaus, Tefé and Tabatinga, is aimed at enhancing safety, accessibility, convenience and operation efficiency. The upgrades are providing a better passenger experience and stimulating local economies by expanding connections between northern Brazil and the rest of the country and the world. The works also included environmental measures to further reduce the airports’ carbon emissions, for instance setting up new air conditioning systems and replacing standard lighting with LED technology, as well as preserving natural environments, for example installing an advanced effluent treatment system. These upgrades align with the commitments that VINCI Airports made when it took over these operations in 2021. Find out more: h https://bit.ly/4axRK39
