In-tunnel mobile network

In connection with the construction of the Erfurt- Leipzig/Halle high-speed line, GA Netztechnik (VINCI Energies Europe) is supplying and installing the mobile phone coverage cables in three tunnels along the route (combined length: 17 km). 36 boosters will supplement these installations to ensure they work effectively. Being undertaken on behalf of Deutsche Bahn, these works will take nine months, with completion due in September.
