Strengthening a natural dam

Soletanche Bachy, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary (VINCI Construction), in a joint venture with Razel, has been appointed to create an injected shield (jet-grouting columns) to reinforce a 40 m-high, natural dam on the Nyos volcanic lake, in the north-west of the country.
The works began on 1st April 2012 and will take 10 months to complete.
