Skids for an extra-large gas platform

Autochim (VINCI Energies France) has been appointed by Technip to plan, design, supply and commission skids for the detection and automatic extinguishing of any fire at the future Prélude offshore gas platform. To be installed 200 km off the coast of Australia, this will be the largest floating structure ever built (length:488 m; 600 000 t).
To be completed by September 2013, the contract is worth €2.3m.
