Renovation of national highway I/50

In July 2012, Eurovia SK completed refurbishment works on national highway I/50, an important link road between Slovakia and Ukraine. In the vicinity of Trhoviste, between the towns of Kosice and Michalovce, the pavement was completely renewed on a 1,194 m-long section, which at the same time improved the drainage. The contract also included creating a crawler lane, laying paving stones, rebuilding bus stops, drainage works and four retaining walls.
Worth €2.2m, the works had taken more than two years.
