Renovation of the historic building of Prague’s National Museum
Průmstav (VINCI Construction International Network), in a joint venture with Metrostav and IMOS Brno, has completed the renovation of the historic building of Prague’s National Museum, one of the most important in the country and a listed national cultural monument.
The project notably involved restoration works, the distribution networks, the technical installations, the installation of floors, lift and public staircases, the new room with a glass floor in the Pantheon tower and the new structures in the East Hall.
The purpose of the works, which lasted four years, was to extend the life of the building, to modernise it while restoring it to its original appearance and to enlarge the exhibition space.
