Renaissance d’un bosquet à Versailles

Renaissance of a bosquet at Versailles

In May 2015, Eurovia’s Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines office completed its redevelopment of the Water Theatre Bosquet (grove) in the park of the Château de Versailles. Winner of an international competition, the project, designed by landscape architect Louis Benech and sculptor Jean-Michel Othoniel, is a contemporary creation. More than 4,000 cu. metres of material had to be removed in order to create the basin in its green setting. Citeos Île-de-France Grands Projets and Citeos Montesson (VINCI Energies France) were also involved in this project, supplying the lighting for the Les Belles Danses fountains. The opening of these fountains to the public, on 12 May, marked the end of a further stage in the restoration of the gardens created in 1671 by André Le Nôtre.
