Rehabilitation of Penthémont Abbey, in Paris

Degaine (VINCI Construction France) is currently rehabilitating the former Penthémont Abbey, in the heart of the 7th arrondissement of Paris, which until recently housed departments of the French Ministry of Defence.

Subject to the Conservation and Enhancement Plan (PSMV), the former convent of the Augustinian nuns and the Hôtel du Génie will, as of February 2018, house a 12,400 sq. metre, 50-room, five-star hotel, operated by the Marriott Group.
And fashion house Saint-Laurent will be installing its new headquarters around the main courtyard, and in the abbey and the former barracks, as well as in the listed Penthémont Pavilion.
