Pumped storage power plant in Morocco

VINCI Construction Grands Projets and VINCI Construction Terrassement teams are currently building a pumped storage power plant at Abdelmoumen, 70 km from Agadir.

As part of the turnkey project, major earthworks (6 million cu. metres) will be needed in the mountainous area to build the access routes, pump/turbine plant facilities and reservoirs. The pumped storage power plant will help expand the use of green energy in Morocco.
