New marina in Al Hoceïma
Dumez Maroc (VINCI Construction International Network) has handed over, five months ahead of schedule, the new marina in the port of Al Hoceïma, on the north-east coast of the country.
Undertaken on behalf of Morocco’s national ports authority, the project involved the creation of a 189 lm-long composite seawall (base in riprap and hollow building blocks), a secondary seawall on piles (126 lm), a slipway and the installation of floating pontoons (469 lm).
Balineau, a Soletanche Freyssinet subsidiary specialising in nautical works and special foundations (VINCI Construction), also participated in the works.
