New Angers – Tours links via the A85 motorway
In late 2018, following works to link the A85 and the A10, two new ramps were opened to traffic to the south of Tours (central France).
They enable Tours-Angers and Angers-Tours journeys to be undertaken without leaving the motorway network, thus giving motorists greater control over their journey time and bringing the connected regions closer together. They also serve to enhance the safety of drivers, network maintenance operatives and the emergency services.
The works, which lasted 2 years, represent an investment of €18 million, 100%-financed by VINCI Autoroutes, and employed an average of 50 people each year.
