Health and safety at work: joint statement with VINCI’s European Works Council
On 17 September 2026, Ms Alexandra Charton, Secretary of VINCI’s European Works Council, and Mr Pierre Anjolras, Chief Executive Officer of VINCI, signed a new joint declaration setting out the guidelines for essential and fundamental actions concerning occupational health and safety. This initiative reflects a strong conviction: lasting progress in this area depends both on sincere and constructive dialogue with employee representatives and on the day-to-day commitment of every individual, at all levels of responsibility.
In consultation with the Group’s Executive Committee and Board of Directors, the CEO thus reaffirms that health and safety remain an absolute priority, as required by the ‘zero accidents’ commitment enshrined in the VINCI Manifesto.
This ambition is structured around three pillars – exemplarity, transparency and dialogue – as well as key areas for action: the provision of collective and personal protective equipment; the establishment of ‘golden rules’ such as the life-saving ‘STOP’ reflex; training for staff and managers; the implementation of safety requirements for all stakeholders; and work on new areas such as mental health, etc.
