Geomix® for former GDF site

In Roquebrune-Cap-Martin (south of France), Soletanche Bachy Sud Est, a subsidiary of Soletanche Freyssinet (VINCI Construction), has just completed the works on the special foundations, prior to the construction of seven buildings for office or residential use in the La Plage eco-neighbourhood.
A retaining wall was created using the Geomix® process (using in situ soil as a construc- tion material), which won a prize in the VINCI 2009 Innova- tion Awards competition.
