Foundations for Tanjung Bin power station

Bachy Soletanche Malaysia (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction) has secured a contract from Murray & Roberts for the construction of a dissipation basin in connection with the expansion of the Tanjung Bin power station, in the south of the country. The project calls for the creation of a diaphragm wall (thickness: 800 mm; depth: 35 to 38 m)and jet-grouted slabs. Contract value: €2m.
Handover is scheduled for May 2014.
