Foundation stone laid for the mixed-use WENOV programme in Lille
VINCI Immobilier and Crédit Mutuel Nord recently laid the foundation stone for WENOV, a 23,000 sq. metre mixed-use programme dedicated to innovation and education being developed in partnership with the European Metropolis of Lille and the City of Lille.
It notably comprises a campus, which will accommodate schools, training centres for future digital professionals, coworking spaces, research centres and technology showrooms. The project also includes a Student Factory residence, eating places, a crèche and new public spaces connecting with an expanding eco-neighbourhood.
Sogea (VINCI Construction France) is working on a general contracting basis on the campus worksite, and on the structural works for the student residence. Handover is scheduled for the second half of 2020.
