Fondation VINCI pour la Cité: associative commitment in the spotlight
To promote the commitment of VINCI employees to local associations, the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité has launched the "Jury’s Favourite Award for associative sponsorship".
Thanks to their involvement, eleven VINCI sponsors were awarded for this first edition by the Clubs pivots (organisations bringing together all of regional VINCI's business lines). This distinction enabled them to release an additional €5,000 to €10,000 in subsidies from the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité for the benefit of the association they support, throughout France.
Shared gardens in priority neighbourhoods, listening to and helping victims of violence, access to culture for vulnerable groups, professional integration, support for young people who have dropped out of school... there are many causes on which VINCI employees are mobilised. Their commitment, in terms of time and skills, creates value in addition to the financial support of the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité.
Created in 2002, the Fondation VINCI pour la Cité supports associative projects that provide solutions to promote the social and professional integration of the most disadvantaged people. It encourages initiatives that are as close as possible to the areas in which VINCI companies operate and illustrates the Group's desire to be a sustainable partner for the citizens and communities for whom it designs, builds and operates many structures and infrastructures.
The Fondation VINCI pour la Cité and VINCI Funds network now includes 16 sponsorship structures in France and 19 other countries.
