Ecological restoration of bed of Isère river
Teams from the Mancuso earthworks centre of VINCI Construction Terrassement and Benedetti-Guelpa, a company that has recently become part of the Group, are working on behalf of the joint Isère/Arc en Combe de Savoie association within the framework of the Restoration of the Bed of the Isère operation.
his operation enables the waterway’s main channel to be rehabilitated with due regard to its fauna and flora. Over a period of three months, 250,000 cu. metres of materials cluttering up the river have been removed, thus reducing the risk of flooding.
