Completion of works on Harlem River Drive project
Menard Group USA and Nicholson Construction (Soletanche Freyssinet) recently completed works begun in 2016 on a major road in order to improve traffic arriving from Harlem River Drive in New York, in the USA.
Within the framework of this project, Menard secured a ground improvement contract to reinforce the approaches to the bridge on this extremely busy four-lane motorway. The solution, designed in collaboration with Nicholson Construction and GEI Consultants, involved installing almost 700 CMCs (controlled modulus columns).
