Another key stage completed at Yamal
On the project to build liquefied natural gas (LNG) storage tanks led by the Entrepose Contracting - VINCI Construction Grands Projets joint venture at Yamal, in Siberia, a further key stage was completed in late December 2016 with the lifting, and placing in position on the roofs of the No. 1 and No. 2 tanks, of the platforms and pipe racks prefabricated at the Kaliningrad site.
These are steel structures onto which the pipes required for the functioning and operation of the tanks will now be attached.
The successful conclusion of these operations is a reflection of the excellent coordination that exists among the project teams based in Colombes, Moscow, Sabetta and Kaliningrad.
