Acquisition of Electrix

VINCI Energies reached an agreement to acquire Electrix from McConnell Dowell, a subsidiary of South African group Aveng, on 18 September 2014. Originally based in New Zealand, Electrix has been expanding in Australia during recent years. It is principally active in the very-high- to low-voltage electricity network installation and maintenance market, as well as workingfor industry and the service sector. Electrix generated revenue of some €280 million in 2013 and employs approximately 2,000 people.
