Solar installations in Amazonia

In Brazil, Omexom Generation & Distribution (VINCI Energies International & Systems) has won a contract with local energy distributor CELPA for the construction and installation of 1,361 solar modules.

The aim is to supply solar energy to the community of Ribeirinha, in the north of the country, i.e. several families, community centres, healthcare establishments and schools.
The project, which started in January 2019, will take 24 months.
