Quay in Guyana’s deep-water port

After two years and five months of works, Caraib Moter (Eurovia) recently handed over Quay No. 2 in the port of Dégrad-des-Cannes (Guyana’s deep-water port). The works involved reinforcing the underpinning of the existing quay wall with a combi-wall, rebuilding the adjoining quayside areas, the installation of three lamellar separators and the rehabilitation of the roadways and utility networks. This renovated quay is now able to accommodate RoRo ships and handle the unloading of heavy vehicles.
Value of the works: €28m, of which €21m for Caraib Moter.
