Participating in a public transport project in Montreal
The Caisse de Dépôt et Placement du Québec (CDPQ) recently appointed Reinforced Earth Company Ltd (RECo) Canada to design and supply all the mechanically stabilized earth wall segments for the Réseau Express Métropolitain (REM) project in Montreal (Quebec), on behalf of NouveLR.
This project – the biggest in 50 years in Quebec as far as public transport is concerned – extends over 67 km and will provide 26 stations connected to an entirely electric light rail transit (LRT) network.
Handover is scheduled for 2023.
