VINCI Park continues to expand in Canada

17 April 2008 - Acquisitions - Canada

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy in North America, VINCI Park has just acquired the contract portfolio of the Master Park company.

This acquisition covers 23 contracts accounting for a total of 2,400 parking spaces in Ottawa. Over half of the car parks concerned are managed under long-term commercial leases, giving VINCI Park a sustained presence at their sites.

Following this operation, VINCI Park will be managing nearly 25,000 parking spaces at 67 sites in Ottawa, making it the city's leading parking operator. VINCI Park is thus consolidating its leadership in parking in eastern Canada, Quebec and Ontario.

In addition, VINCI Park has just signed a 10-year contract to manage the 1,032-space underground car park at the Place Québec in the heart of Quebec's Upper Town.

These operations strengthen VINCI Park's presence in North America, where the Group now manages 372 500 parking spaces. VINCI Park now manages at total of 1.1 million parking spaces in 13 countries.
