Veolia Environnement has stated in public that it intends to propose an alliance with VINCI, the world leader in concessions and construction.

VINCI’s view is that an alliance of the two groups would be of no strategic interest, would not create any synergies and would not create value for its shareholders.

VINCI considers this unrequested proposal to be of a hostile nature.
