Wick drains in New Orleans

US Wick Drain, a subsidiary of Menard Group USA (Soletanche Freyssinet/VINCI Construction), has won a contract to install wick drains in preparation for the construction of the new terminalat Louis Armstrong International Airport in New Orleans (Louisiana). This contract will involve installing six million metres of prefabricated drains at a depth of 27 metres to support the future taxiways and roadways at the terminal, which is expected to be operational by October 2018.
