14 December 2017 - Projects update and handover - France

In the La Défense business district near Paris, Sogea TPI (VINCI Construction France) has completed the engineering structure and concrete slab on which the Trinity high rise will be built and Bateg, also a VINCI Construction France subsidiary, has started construction of the building itself.

The 140-metre skyscraper will be built over a seven-lane highway, the Avenue de la Division Leclerc.

The more than 3,500 sq. metre concrete slab that forms the base of the building is made of a concrete specially formulated for the project, called N3. Its composition is highly resistant to fire: the slab can withstand a temperature of more than 1,300°C for four hours.

The first walls and posts have been cast and the teams are currently installing the climbing formwork that will be used to construct the 30-storey building.
