The winners – among 130 competing entries – in the BIM d’Or competition, which honours current best practice in the use of digital models, were announced on 19 September 2016; three Group companies were among the final winners.

The BIM d’Or was awarded to Thalès and VINCI Facilities (VINCI Energies) for the BIM for FM experimentation project, undertaken on a co-innovation basis within the framework of the operation of Thalès’s recently built Hélios building in Vélizy-Villacoublay (Paris region).

Two further VINCI companies were also competition winners.

In the International category, VINCI Construction Grands Projets was rewarded for its renovation of the historic building and hotel the Mandarin Oriental, in London, a project implemented in a joint venture with Petit (VINCI Construction France); while VINCI Autoroutes was successful in the Infrastructure category for the part it played, as client, on the project to develop a link on the Nantes ring road, in the west of France.
