The first meeting of the Rendez-vous des Fondations VINCI (Meetings of the VINCI Foundations) took place, attended by about a hundred people, on 26 April in Paris, and focused on the subject of gaining access to and retaining housing.

This event brought together the German (VINCI Stiftung), Greek (Syndesmos VINCI), British (VINCI UK Foundation), Slovak (Nadacia Granvia) and Dutch (VINCI Foundation NL) VINCI Foundations, as well as the Abbé Pierre Foundation, the Aurore association and the Solidarités Nouvelles pour le Logement Paris association, for a round-table discussion followed by workshops on the theme “Poor housing and contemporary migration: taking up present-day challenges”.

While the main focus of the day was on open social innovation, it also saw the presentation of prizes following the Logement 2015 call for projects initiated by Pierre Coppey, chief operating officer of VINCI and president of the Aurore association. 27 associations were thus rewarded for their efforts to support the housing of people in difficult situations.
