The École des Métiers de l’Autoroutes (EMA) opens in central France

VINCI Autoroutes opened a training centre for motorway workers, which will help it meet its recruitment requirements, in Brive on 4 April last.

The goal is to build newcomers’ professional skills, familiarise future motorway workers with VINCI Autoroutes’ culture and mindset, and standardise and solidify training paths.
The first cohort will be starting its course, which will last 200 hours over three two-week periods. Over time, the school will also take in employees from local authorities and other companies working on roads (providing roadside repair services, for instance), as well as infrastructure managers for bespoke courses in roadworks marking, winter maintenance, risk management and road safety.
