13 December 2019 - Projects update and handover - France

On 19 November 2019, 20 employees gave the Group’s innovation directors progress reports on their AI projects after a month spent on project design (searching for accessible data, business plan) and studying the state of the art (usable models and in-house or external partners).

Eight projects were presented, concerning a variety of subjects: the optimisation of layout plans for the restoration of historic buildings; automatic generation of fire extinction networks; the detection of project phases in order to produce automated progress reports; predictive maintenance of the geometry of the tracks of the SEA high-speed line; optimisation of the parameters affecting customer satisfaction at airports; optimisation of motorway maintenance in Germany; optimisation of an aircraft’s taxiing time between leaving its parking place and taking off; and the automatic generation of optimised construction solutions. Successfully passing this milestone means the projects can move on to the implementation phase, lasting four months, the ultimate aim being the deployment of the project in April 2020.
