Signature of a partnership with the South Region for zero carbon mobility

On 12 November 2019, Renaud Muselier, President of the Provence Alpes Côte-d’Azur regional council and President of Régions de France along with Pierre Coppey, Chairman of VINCI Autoroutes and VINCI Executive Vice-President, signed a partnership to boost sustainable mobility.

The partners pledged to step up the development of zero carbon mobility solutions on motorways by increasing the number of charging points for clean vehicles, adapting production and distribution infrastructure, developing multi-modal or shared solutions and developing digital services and solutions. Furthermore, this agreement seeks to ensure infrastructure facilitates the reduction of energy use, the generation of renewable energy and the preservation of natural environments. The goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.
