Road junction on the Cracow – Slovak border road

A joint venture, within which Eurovia Poland is in charge of all the roadworks, is building an interchange at the junction of the DK47 and DW961 roads at Poronin.

The existing interchange, located on a very busy road linking Cracow and Zakopane, will be replaced by a roundabout and a 36 m-long tunnel will be built to provide a crossing beneath a railway line. The road will be spanned by two viaducts (one road, one rail) and a footbridge. The works are scheduled to take 22 months.
Value of the works for Eurovia: €1.9m.
