Repairing a breakwater in the port of Bormes-Les-Mimosas

In a joint venture with Ei.age Travaux Maritimes et Fluviaux, VINCI Construction Terrassement is currently carrying out remedial works on the breakwater in the port of Bormes-les-Mimosas (south of France).

Damaged during recent storms, it is now being made more secure. The works notably involve creating a return wall associated with a spill basin and the installation of Accropode II^TM, the first of which was installed in late January 2019, and Ecopode^TM – these are artificial concrete blocks forming armour protecting the breakwater.

Completion of the works is scheduled for the end of 2019.
