Degaine (VINCI Construction France), is renovating the envelope of the palaeontology gallery at the Natural History Museum in Paris’s 5th arrondissement.

The palaeontology and comparative anatomy gallery is a listed historical document, was designed and built from 1892 to 1898 by architect Ferdinand Dutert, and stands in the Jardin des Plantes (the city’s main botanical garden). Degaine will be renovating the building’s outer facades, which span 4,300 sq. metres. The bulk of the works relate to brickwork and dressed stone. The project began in November 2019 and will be completed in November 2021.
