Redevelopment of a city-centre street in Pilsen (Czech Republic)

The title European Capital of Culture was awarded to Pilsen (west of Czech Republic) in 2015. After having rehabilitated the tram tracks in the city centre back in May 2015 (more info), Eurovia CS is currently redeveloping Borská Street, one of the city’s busiest roads, and the Belánka junction. The project involves widening the traffic lanes and joining the pavements up with the cycle lanes, and installing a new urban lighting and signage system. Trolleybus catenaries have been installed along the length of the street, and all the green spaces have been upgraded.
