Reconstruction of a pier in Puerto Colombia

The Puerto Colombia SBCC consortium, formed by Soletanche Bachy Cimas S.A. and Constructora Conconcreto S.A. (both VINCI Construction subsidiaries), has been awarded the contract to rebuild the first 200 metres of the pier of Puerto Colombia, in the Atlántico Department.

Taking 18 months to complete, it includes demolition of the structure of the pier, the construction of a footbridge, pile driving, and the installation of the beams, the columns, the railings, the slab, the reinforced concrete and the protection wall. Aimed at attracting more tourists to the region, this project is contributing to the creation of jobs for local people.
