1 June 2017 - Projects update and handover - France

A joint venture composed of Cardem Paris (Eurovia), leader, Eurovia Massy and Demathieu Bard is implementing the preparatory works, on behalf of Aéroports de Paris, for the construction of the future Orly Airport station, which by 2024 will serve as the terminus of Lines 14 and 18 of the Grand Paris Express network.

A major entry point to this network, the new station will be a vast multimodal hub offering connections between Lines 14 and 18 as well as with the Orly West bus station, tramway line T7 and Orlyval.

It will be located right next to the future link building (currently under construction by VINCI Construction France) that will connect the airport’s South and West terminals.

The operation involves installing the worksite, for the works but also for the project management, which will be retained until the station is handed over.

It also includes rerouting all the fluids networks and the electricity production, water, high- and low-voltage networks, and the demolition, mechanically, of the extension to the P0 car park as well as of two engineering structures (length: 60 m) in prestressed concrete by lifting. A third engineering structure in reinforced concrete will be demolished mechanically. For Eurovia, the works are scheduled to end in January 2019.
Contract value: €11.8m.
