This summer, Brady Marine & Civil (VINCI Construction) completed the design and construction of a 150-metre wharf, which included dredging the berthing area, for its customer TasPorts.

The approach on the QuayLink project involved using leading-edge technologies such as rock-filled bags to protect the facilities from scouring and prefabricated structures engineered to guarantee effectiveness and durability, as well as several innovations such as limiting dredging operations in order to reduce fuel consumption by heavy excavators and vessels. The port infrastructure upgrade in East Devenport, on the northern shore of the State of Tasmania, is designed to enable this tourist and trade hub to operate reliably for the next 50 years.
