Optimisation of a railway line in the Czech Republic

Eurovia CS, as part of a joint venture, is undertaking reconstruction works on the railway line between Český Těšìn and Dětmarovice, in the east of the country, along the Polish border.

Being carried out at several stations along this stretch, the works are aimed at modernising equipment and preparing the section of line for new technologies. Launched in August 2017, this project – providing travellers with a more comfortable journey while at the same time increasing train speeds – will be handed over in August 2019.
