New operating agreement for the Moscow – St. Petersburg motorway

VINCI Highways (VINCI Concessions), via its UTS subsidiary, has just secured a 10-year contract for the operation of further sections – 359 km in total – of the motorway linking Moscow and St. Petersburg.

With this new contract, VINCI Highways, via its UTS and TCH subsidiaries, becomes the sole operator of the 669 km of motorway between Moscow and St. Petersburg. Several sections are still under construction and should be brought into service in 2018.

Coming after three years of sustained growth, this latest success confirms the position of VINCI Highways as the leading private-sector road operator in Russia, operating 935 km of motorway. With its wide-ranging expertise in the operation of roads and toll collection services, VINCI Highways is participating in a restructuring of the Russian transport network, applying the highest standards as regards safety, innovation and durability.
