Opened to traffic on 23 December 2016, the new Borderouge interchange on the eastern ring road round Toulouse (south-west France) was formally inaugurated on 5 January 2017 in the presence of Pierre Coppey, chairman of VINCI Autoroutes, Carole Delga, president of the Occitanie region, Georges Meric, president of the Haute-Garonne Departmental Council, Jean-Luc Moudenc, president of Toulouse Métropole and mayor of the city, and Pascal Mailhos, prefect of the Occitanie region.

Undertaken within the framework of the project to develop the northern urban boulevard (BUN) of Toulouse Métropole, the construction works for the new interchange (No. 13) lasted 18 months.

Co-financed by the French government, local authorities and VINCI Autoroutes, the interchange will facilitate travel in the Toulouse area, providing access, via the BUN, to the new Borderouge neighbourhood and to a metro Park & Ride site.
