Blythe (Eurovia in North Carolina) is about to start, on a design-build basis, the projects R-2247CD and R-2247EC that involve modifying two major interchanges on the northern ring road round Winston-Salem, the fourth-largest city of the State.

The works are principally aimed at improving north/south connections in the western part of Forsyth County, as well as reducing congestion on roads around this region with its rapidly expanding population.

The project includes the construction of three bridges: on the NC65 (Bethania Rural Hall Road), to span the US52 (the future I-74); on the SR1891 (Peace Haven Road), over the US421; and on Kester Mill Road, to cross Silas Creek. The bridge over the US52 will provide users coming from the north with easy access to the city of Winston-Salem. The works are due for completion in July 2020.
